Iulia has a nine years experience in working on diversity and gender balance issues.
She is the founder of Creative Intersections. She accompanies businesses in doing better through diversity. She helps them craft work environments where employees get recognition and respect as they engage their differences and talents for the benefit of corporate interests.
In the boiling society of post-communist Romania, Iulia studied literatures and marketing, worked in public relations, marketing, French-speaking academic cooperation, obtained an MBA, organised international business conferences, set up an after-school centre and an art gallery.
Her journey in diversity started in 2006 in France, with a post-graduate project with FNEP (Fondation Nationale Entreprise et Performance) that offered her the opportunity to learn about how diversity is dealt with in other countries (Spain, United Kingdom, Norway, Canada, and Singapore).
She then worked for six years with ORSE in Paris (Observatoire de la Responsabilité Sociétale des Entreprises), leading working groups with CAC 40 companies and trade unions and writing guides (see list of guides below).
Iulia also worked as a diversity senior consultant with Just Different, a consulting firm in Paris for one year.
Iulia is fluent in Romanian, French, English, and Spanish.
She is also a writer of short stories about ordinary people living in ordinary environments, with extraordinary destinies, as they perceive the world differently.
